Ivy is the codename of Angular’s new rendering engine. Ivy is generating a lot of excitement in the Angular community because it promises smaller, faster builds. In some demos, the builds are 10 times smaller. And because Ivy is a drop-in replacement for the current renderer your code will get smaller and faster without any changes. Just upgrade to Angular 7 and recompile.
Ivy should be rock solid by the time it gets into our hands because Google is currently “dogfooding” Ivy in their own Angular apps. Google uses Angular in approx 1000 applications.
You can read more about the app and inspect the source code on GitHub.
