This year’s Angular Connect was all about upgrading because the Angular team really want you to migrate off AngularJS 1.x.
With this in mind, Elan Olson @elanathellama spoke about two resources the Angular Team provide: the ngMigration Assistant and the ngMigration-Forum.
The ngMigration Forum exists to share helpful resources about migrating from AngularJS 1.x to Angular.
The ngMigration Assistant supplies simple, clear, and constructive guidance on how to migrate your application. It analyzes any AngularJS app — big or small — and makes recommendations about possible approaches that may suit your application.
ngMigration Assistant is a command-line tool and super simple to use. Give it a go.
Elan’s talk on Migrating from AngularJS to Angular is available on Youtube. The Slides are available too.
